Two people, one atelier.
Cove & Cord is a two-person studio in the Sierra Nevada mountains of Andalucía. Every lamp is handcrafted by the same hands, signed, and shipped from our atelier — not a workshop in a different city, not a distributor, not a factory.
When you email us, you'll talk to the person who made your lamp. When you ask a question, the answer comes from the atelier, not a customer-service script.

Questions worth asking.
What does bespoke mean in practice?
You design the pattern — by sketching in the Atelier, adapting one of ours, or telling us what you want. We handcraft the lamp to match. Every piece is made only once, signed, and shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Can I start from one of your patterns and change it?
Yes — most customers do. Load any plate from the collection, then adjust pattern depth, colour, and diameter. The result is still bespoke and still signed — it just starts from a known good.
What material is it — is it really eco?
Bio-resin: a plant-derived composite, biodegradable under industrial composting, no petrochemicals, no microplastics, no VOCs. Lighter than plaster (roughly a quarter the weight at 60 cm), warm-matte to the touch, stronger than traditional resin.
What's the lead time?
Four weeks for 30–80 cm. Six weeks for 100 or 120 cm Atelier commissions. Dramatically faster than the bespoke-lighting norm (most peers run 8–14 weeks). For a hard site deadline, tell us and we'll confirm the slot.
What if I don't love the finished lamp?
We photograph every lamp before shipping. If it doesn't match what we agreed, we remake — no charge. If you've simply changed your mind after delivery, full refund within 30 days, regardless of custom status.
Is the warranty on the finish, or the whole lamp?
Both. Two years on the paint finish (no fading, no peeling, no pigment migration). Two years on the product (core, electrical, suspension). If anything fails in that window, we remake or repair.
Do you ship outside Europe?
Yes — worldwide, via insured courier with signature on delivery. We absorb in-transit damage risk; if the box arrives damaged, we ship a replacement.
How do Atelier commissions differ from Essentials?
Essentials (30–80 cm) are self-configured in the Atelier and produced in our standard four-week window. Atelier commissions (100 and 120 cm) begin with a 30-minute call, a €500 deposit credited to the final piece, and run to a six-week lead. The build is the same care, just at a scale that needs the conversation.
Can I order a cluster of matching lamps for a hallway or restaurant?
Yes — this is a frequent request. For trade projects (≥3 lamps), we offer project pricing and a single point of contact throughout. Email us or see the Trade page for details.
Do you work with interior designers and architects?
Yes. Our Trade program offers project pricing, priority production within the standard lead time, CAD + RAL spec sheets on request, and a dedicated contact in the atelier.
